Meet Angelina

Angelina Hamilton Steiner was raised in Lakewood and is a product of Lakewood City Schools (K-8) and Lutheran High School West. She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration.

Angelina is a public servant and leader and currently works in research administration and has spent a majority of her professional career in higher education. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience with fundraising, grant writing, program development, and grassroots organizing. She has served on the board of Madison Court Community Coalition; was co-Chair of the Anti-Racism Task Force; served on the Charter Review Commission; and was a member of the Steering Committee for the Community Health Needs Assessment.

Angelina is a mom and has children who attend Lakewood Public Schools. In her free time when she is not working or serving the public, she can be found supporting her children in a myriad of activities.
